Ma$e is the latest star to weigh in on Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan’s split. In a recent episode of his sports show It Is What It Is, with Cam’Ron, Ma$e criticized Pippen for her behavior and drew a comparison to Lori Harvey.
As previously reported, speculations about the split between Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan had been circulating for some time. Pippen’s decision to delete all photos of Jordan from her Instagram page over the weekend further fueled these rumors. Subsequently, she posted seemingly subliminal content on her Story, including a poll asking whether friends should unfollow their exes and a video about trusting one’s “inner voice.” PEOPLE magazine later confirmed the breakup, coinciding with Ma$e’s discussion on his sports talk show.
On the show, Ma$e expressed his disapproval of Pippen’s behavior, particularly her attempt to shift blame onto Jordan, who is 16 years younger than her. Ma$e questioned Pippen’s maturity, reminding her that she is the adult in the situation. He also referenced Pippen’s past relationship with Scottie Pippen, jokingly suggesting that her animosity towards both the Pippens and the Jordans could hinder her future prospects in Chicago. Ma$e emphasized the embarrassment of the situation and accused Pippen of taking advantage of Jordan’s youth. Ma$e went on to say, “Ain’t you Scottie’s ex wife? Now you mad with the Pippens and the Jordans? You got no future in Chicago, I can tell you that! You mad with Batman and Robin and now Baby Batman? This is really embarrassing. What was you thinking? Your kids grew up with this boy! Somebody gotta tell people the truth.” He continued, “You were taking advantage of him,” he added. “I really don’t like this situation. And then gon’ delete all his pictures like he’s the problem. Larsa, you’re not 21. You’re not Lori Harvey! You gotta stop this.” Whew!
During his rant, Ma$e’s went on to mention Lori Harvey. He explained that while Harvey has also had a very public private life, she typically dates men her own age. Harvey, who has been linked to Michael B. Jordan and Future, among others, has managed to navigate her personal life with less controversy. Ma$e’s reference to Harvey serves as a reminder to Pippen that she should reconsider her behavior and approach to relationships, given her age and experience.
