WATCH: Officer Deploys Taser During Intense Fight At Atlanta Airport TSA Checkpoint
According to 11Alive, a total of three people were arrested Tuesday after police said a fight broke out at TSA security checkpoint at Atlanta’s airport.
Atlanta Police Department officers were called to the scene for a dispute at the checkpoint just around 7:30 a.m. They explained that three passengers – two of whom are 19 and another who is 17 – were trying to get through the checkpoint, but one of them didn’t have his ID.
It was said that a TSA employee and the three got into an argument. Some witnesses said claimed the group was the ones who were being “disruptive and speaking disrespectfully to the TSA employee.” 11Alive reports that at some point, a bystander decided to check the three for their behavior, but that triggered at least two of the group to “attack” the bystander. An officer on the scene used his taser to subdue two of them. The third “surrendered without force.”
All three were arrested m and charged with Criminal Trespass and Disorderly Conduct.
