The once beloved cast of Nickelodeon’s Ned’s Declassified can’t seem to fathom the backlash they’ve been getting from their latest viral video… so now they’re speaking out to apologize once again.

As we previously reported, Devon Werkheiser the actor, known for his role as Ned, along with his co-stars, came under fire for their insensitive remarks regarding the mistreatment of actors at Nickelodeon, particularly in light of Drake Bell’s revelations in the documentary “Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV.” During a live stream on TikTok, Werkheiser and his co-stars made light of the documentary, with Werkheiser joking, “Get back in your hole, Daniel! And give me your holes!’ Sorry, we shouldn’t joke about this, we really shouldn’t. Because this was about us. Listen, our set was not like that. And no, it’s f*cking awful. The Drake Bell shit is crazy to hear, like that’s f*cked, man. And that never came out, which is really wild…Guys we can’t joke like this, Jesus! Sometimes humor helps us move through things, ya know?”

In response to the criticism, Werkheiser issued a public apology to Drake Bell and others affected by his comments on Twitter. However, on the brand new episode of “Ned’s Declassified Podcast Survival Guide,” Devon, Daniel and Lindsey get real about the recent docuseries “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.” The trio also take the time to address and apologize recent controversies from their TikTok Livestream. More On Drake Bell:

As we previously reported, former Nickelodeon stars have shared their reactions to Quiet on Set, the Investigation Discovery documentary series that gives a deep dive into the allegations of unsafe work environments on the sets of multiple hit shows created by the producer Dan Schneider.

Bell spoke out in the docuseries about being sexually assaulted by Brian Peck (no relation to co-star Josh Peck), a dialogue coach at Nickelodeon. Since then, there have been outpour of love and support to Bell.

Nickelodeon has since released the following statement in response to Bell’s account. “Now that Drake Bell has disclosed his identity as the plaintiff in the 2004 case, we are dismayed and saddened to learn of the trauma he has endured, and we commend and support the strength required to come forward.”
