Drake has been traveling the around country for his “It’s All a Blur” tour and fans got to experience a lot of funny and wild moments thanks to all the bra-throwing by his female concertgoers. However, during his Los Angeles things took a heartwarming turn when he popped out the legendary LeBron James and his talented son, Bronny James.
In a video shared online shows Lebron James and his eldest son Bronny walking out of the tunnel with the Toronto rapper as he moved through the crowd to the stage. Of course, fans went wild. When Drake got to the middle of the stage, he then told a sweet story about his friendship with the four-time NBA champion. “In 2009, when nobody believed in anything I had going on, that same guy showed up to a release party for a mixtape that was called ‘So Far Gone,’” Drake explained. “He came all the way to Toronto, Canada to support me when I was trying to figure out how to support my dreams. So tonight, however, many years later, it’s an honor to be inside this building, while we’re still on this earth.”
Fans were happy to see James and his son walk out as Drizzy’s special guest especially after the sports family recently experienced a scary medical scare with Bronny. As we previously reported, just nearly a month ago, the 18-year-old was hospitalized after suffering cardiac arrest during a basketball workout at the University of Southern California, where he is currently a freshman. He was “in stable condition” after being in the ICU.
While cardiac arrest is commonly associated with older individuals, it also rarely happens to young adults as well. There are several factors that can contribute to a cardiac arrest in this age group. One of the main causes is underlying heart conditions, such as congenital heart defects or structural abnormalities. These conditions may be present from birth or develop over time without any noticeable symptoms. While James has not yet given full details about Bronny’s hospitalization, he did speak out to thank his supporters for all of their love and support during that difficult time.
Days after the breaking news, James l thanked fans who expressed their well-wishes as his son recovered. He said in a July 27 tweet, “I want to thank the countless people sending my family love and prayers. We feel you and I’m so grateful.” He added, “Will have more to say when we’re ready but I wanted to tell everyone how much your support has meant to all of us! #JamesGang👑.”
Bronny has since returned to normal activities after being released from the hospital. Since then, he’s dined out with family and played the piano, and of course, attended Drake’s fun concert.
