WATCH: Dad Becomes Emotional As Meek Mill Gifts His Family With Toys And Clothes For The Holidays
Meek Mill continues to give back! The rapper decided to spread some holiday cheer in his hometown for families impacted by the criminal justice system.
A clip posted to his official Instagram account shows the heartwarming moment Meek gifts a family with some new clothes and toys. While doing that, he actually speaks to the dad, Anthony Morse, who fosters 5 kids in addition to his own. “It’s been a tough year for all of us, but through all the ups and downs, I’ll always do my part to support and give back to the Philly community that raised me,” Meek says.
The “We Ball” rapper who teamed up with his DreamChasers crew to deliver the gifts around Philadelphia ahead of Christmas also said: “I remember not having much growing up, so it’s important to use my platform to give back, especially to the families trying to provide for their kids while also dealing with the criminal justice system.” The father becomes visibly choked up as he expressed his gratitude for Meek, who gave them Xbox Series X, Puma clothing, iPad’s, and a lot more.
In addition to this, Meek is also donating $30k to the volunteer group Twelve Days of Christmas which is buying gifts for 30 North Philly families, the news site notes.
