Washington Football Team QB Dwayne Haskins Released After Breaking COVID-19 Restrictions & Game Loss
Washington Football Team QB Dwayne Haskins has been released from his contract this following his recent game loss and incident where he broke the organization’s COVID-19 restrictions. Last week, we reported that Haskins issued an apology after he broke the team’s COVID-19 protocol to party with strippers. His partying followed his team’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Subsequently, he apologized. On Monday, a day after Haskins was benched in a loss game to the Carolina Panthers, Washington coach Ron Rivera announced he’d met with Haskins to inform him of the decision; which also followed Haskins’ demotion to a player signed to the practice squad less than a month ago.
