The incident occurred at the Problem Child Dark Cafe in Sapporo, Japan, a brand new cafe that opened last month and paid 2,500 yen($25) an hour for waitresses to dress in gothic attire. Additionally, the owners wanted the girls to act ‘mentally unstable’ and ‘problematic,’ as reported by the Independent. However, one of the waitresses took her job too seriously when a customer requested she put her blood in their cocktail.

After learning about the request, her employers called it an act of ‘borderline terrorism’ and fired the young woman immediately. The cafe was also closed for a day to replace all the drinking glasses.

“It seems that there was a girl who was risked and mixed with Orikaku, but she was dismissed this time Also, today’s business will be closed to replace all glasses. Such an act is no different from part-time job terrorism and is absolutely not acceptable.”

A doctor advised that the customers and female employee who drank the blood-infused drink should get a test to rule out diseases such as HIV, Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B, and syphilis.

“Cases of people getting infected from drinking another person’s blood are rare, but major diseases can be transmitted through blood, including HIV, Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B, and syphilis. If there are wounds in the mouth, it is easy to be infected by blood transmissions,”

Putting blood in a drink would be considered highly unhygienic and potentially harmful to human health. Also, drinking blood is uncommon in most cultures and is considered taboo in many societies. If you were to put your own blood in a drink, it would still be unhygienic and may potentially cause harm to your own health. Consuming blood from oneself or others is generally not recommended and can pose serious health risks. It is important always to practice good hygiene and safe food handling practices to prevent the spread of diseases.

Social media users responded to the blood-infused cocktail and had different opinions.

Twitter users had different opinions about the story, as they criticized the cafe for reportedly asking their employees to act “mentally unstable.”
