Socialites… a Florida man has been arrested after allegedly decapitating a python during a quarrel with a woman. 32-year-old Kevin Justin Mayorga is facing multiple charges for the crime, which occurred in the early hours on Monday at the Saga Bay apartment complex in Cutler Bay, as per the New York Post.
According to the Miami-Dade Police Department, cops responded to a 911 call regarding a domestic dispute, stating that when officers pulled up to the apartment, they could hear two people shouting at one another before the woman let out a loud scream.

The police report claims that the woman, who has yet to be identified, yelled for law enforcement officials to “just kick the door in” when they allegedly witnessed Mayorga attempting to close the door on them in an effort to hold the victim against her will.
Mayorga is further accused of ignoring commands given by police, prompting them to taser him, but to no avail. That’s when things were said to have gotten physical between cops and Mayorga, per the report, which claims he hit an officer in the eye with a handcuff.
Following his arrest, police noticed a decapitated python with its head missing, which the woman blamed on Mayorga. The suspect is now facing charges including false imprisonment, resisting arrest, and animal cruelty with intent to kill.
Police were able to locate the python’s missing head, which was found near the entryway. Mayorga himself was immediately taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center where he was hit with a $15,000 bond.

If found guilty of his charges, Mayorga could spend up to five years in prison, as well receive five years of probation and an additional $5,000 fine under Florida law.
A hearing date for Mayorga has not yet been scheduled.
