Viral Grandma Who Sent Accidental Thanksgiving Text To Stranger Both Honor Husband Who Died Of COVID-19
Ahead of this year’s holiday, Wanda Dench, the now-63-year-old viral grandma who sent an accidental Thanksgiving text in 2016 inviting a stranger (now-21-year-old Jamal Hinton) to dinner, both honor her late husband who died of COVID-19 this year.
Since Dench went viral four years ago for accidentally texting Hinton instead of her real grandson, the Hinton has continued to celebrate Thanksgiving with the Dench family. However, this year, as they celebrate early as they always do, things were a little different as they also honored Dench’s late husband of 41 years, Lonnie.
