An Italian actor is sharing his desperate plea for help via Facebook after he was quarantined with his sister’s body as funeral services refused to remove her.

Luca Franzese, shared the graphic video from his Naples home with the deceased body of his sister, Teresa Franzese, who passed from the Coronavirus.

“I am waiting for the institutions to give me answers since last night. Nobody came forward,” he said on Sunday in the video.

“This is a very strong video, please don’t show it to children and elderly people. I am forced in all my pain to fight this situation — I have my sister here in bed, dead. I don’t know what to do, I can’t honor her as she deserves because institutions abandoned me,” he added.

“I contacted everyone, but nobody was able to give me an answer,” he says, adding that no funeral home would accept his sister’s body.

After his pleas were heard on Facebook, one funeral home got in contact with him to help, adding that they “used masks, sterile shoes, hazmat suits, glasses, and gloves.”

This was the first case in Italy where a person had died in their home, but, Franzese and his family stayed indoors to avoid contact with others.
