Surveillance footage surfaced of a New Zealand man traveling with a suitcase containing the body of his deceased Tinder date.

According to the New York Post, Jesse Kempson,28, was seen using a luggage cart to carry two suitcases into an elevator at the CityLife hotel in Auckland. He then placed the suitcase in a rented Toyota where he drove outside of the city to bury the suitcase containing Grace Millane’s body.
Kempson confessed to police that he strangled the college student to death then placed her body into a fetal position so she would be able to fit in the suitcase. Additional footage also presented that he purchased a shovel on the day of Millane’s death. She was last seen on Dec.1, 2018 and her body was found several days later. Her family reported that that Millane was killed a day before her 22nd birthday.

Months before her murder, Kempson also raped another British tourist he met on Tinder after she refused his advances due to being drunk. The victim did not report the assault until seeing Kempson’s case on local news outlets.
He is currently serving a consecutive life sentence for the murder with an additional 17 years for assault.
