Video Catches Men Using Tesla Auto-Pilot While Drinking & ‘Not Driving’
A group of young men took drinking and driving to the next level by using their Tesla autopilot on the freeway while drinking, and they posted the entire thing on TikTok!
This video shared by TMZ after it was posted on TikTok shows the guys zooming down a freeway while using the Tesla Autopilot. The car seems to be traveling at least 60 mph with nobody behind the wheel. Various shots show numerous alcoholic beverages being consumed bu everybody because nobody is driving!

This is not the intended use of the autopilot function and in previous non drunk incidents, four people actually passed away from auto-pilot related crashes.
Back in March 2019, a man in Florida dire after his Tesla Model 3 crashed into a trailer. At times the autopilot has been unable to detect tractors and has driven straight into them.
While the feature is there, there are many improvements that are needed, and the driver of the vehicle should still be in the drivers seat and paying attention in case they need to take control back of the car.
