Victoria Beckham Says Beyonce Was Inspired By The Spice Girls

Victoria Beckham also known as Posh Spice from the 90’s hit British girl group Spice Girls, has revealed that the group was an inspiration to megastar Beyoncé.

In an interview with the Breaking Beauty podcast, Beckham shared that Bey had told her that the girl group was an inspiration to her and made her want to be a pop star.

“I met Beyoncé a few years ago and she actually said to me, ‘It was the Spice Girls that inspired me and made me want to do what I do and made me proud to be a girl. I’m proud to be who I am,'” Beckham said.

Spice Girls were all about women empowerment and showing girls that they could have fun.

“And when someone like Beyoncé, who is so iconic and such a strong woman, says that she was inspired by the Spice Girls, I think that that’s quite something, inspires lots of young women.”
