The TikToker says she woke up to the sex toy in a plastic bag and learned a valuable lesson about sex toy safety. However, her incident isn’t a unique one.
Statistics prove that this is not a unique case when it comes to sex toys
As reported by She Knows, an estimated 18,547 vibrator- and 6,468-related injuries were treated in the United States between 2000 and 2019. The site also advises people who use toys during sexual activities should have an exit plan for themselves or their partner. The toys should have a base or a handle in case things get a bit too complicated.
I worked In an ER and definitely saw this a few times. Once a screwdriver and a jar as well. People just don’t put stuff up there unless there’s a for sure way to remove it 😭

Why get surgery to remove it when a $25 order at McDonald’s would’ve taken care of it in minutes, if not seconds
