The vehicles used in two devastating incidents on Wednesday, one in New Orleans and another in Las Vegas, have been rented through the Turo app.
Shamud-Din Jabbar, 42, allegedly drove a rented Ford pickup truck around 4:15 a.m. on Bourbon Street, killing at least 15 people and injuring 30 others. Three victims have been identified by their loved ones: Reggie Hunter, Nikrya Dedeaux, and Tiger Bech. After the truck came to a stop, Jabbar reportedly opened fire on responding officers. According to Newsweek, officers discovered an ISIS flag, weapons, and potential explosives in the vehicle. Jabbar was allegedly staying at a nearby Airbnb, which burned down earlier that day.
Several hours later in Las Vegas, a Tesla Cybertruck exploded in front of the Trump International Hotel, resulting in one death and seven injuries. The FBI is thoroughly investigating the incident as a potential terror attack and is currently working to determine any connections to the tragedy in New Orleans. A spokesperson for Turo affirmed that they are committed to cooperating with authorities throughout the investigation.
“We are heartbroken by the violence perpetrated in New Orleans and Las Vegas, and our prayers are with the victims and families. We are actively partnering with law enforcement authorities as they investigate both incidents.”
In response to the attacks, President Biden expressed his condolences to the victims’ families.
Learning from Experience: How JetWebHackers Helped Me Recover Lost Funds
As the Assistant Manager at Booker Software, Inc., I want to share my recent experience with an investment scam that serves as a cautionary tale. I was approached by an individual named David FX on LinkedIn who promised substantial returns on Bitcoin investments. I invested $103,000, only to be deceived into believing I had made a profit of $304,930 within a week. Unfortunately, this was a scam, and I lost all my money. Fortunately, I enlisted the help of JetWebHackers, who successfully tracked down and hacked David’s website, allowing me to recover both my initial investment and the promised profits. This experience underscores the importance of due diligence when it comes to online investments. I am immensely grateful to JetWebHackers for their expertise and support. I urge everyone to remain vigilant and seek professional help if faced with similar situations. Thank you for listening.
