Vaccine Passports Reportedly Required For Travel & Recreation In 2021
Companies are reportedly working on vaccine passports that will be mandatory if you want to travel in 2021 and do any activity outside of your home.
Several tech companies are in the works of creating smartphone apps or systems for individuals to upload proof of their Covid-19 tests and vaccinations. These can then be presented to gain entry to concert venues, stadiums, movie theaters, offices, and other countries.
“You can be tested every time you cross a border. You cannot be vaccinated every time you cross a border,” said Thomas Crampton, chief marketing and communications officer for The Commons Project, to CNN.

The common wealth project is launching CommonPass, “a trusted, globally-interoperable platform for people to document their COVID-19 status (health declarations / PCR tests/vaccinations) to satisfy country entry requirements while protecting their health data privacy.”
“The purpose of CommonPass and the Common Trust Network is to enable safer airline and cross border travel by giving both travellers and governments confidence in each traveller’s verified COVID-19 status.”
However, they do note that because the effect of the vaccine isn’t 100% clear, safety isn’t guaranteed.
