Usher is officially putting future concertgoers on notice! While co-headlining “The R&B Tour” alongside Chris Brown, the R&B Kings made a pit stop in Birmingham, Alabama. While there, Usher made sure to address his latest viral moment with a hilarious, unfiltered warning.
Pausing mid-show to lay down the ground rules before serenading another lucky lady, Usher cracked a smile and told the crowd, “Before we get started, don’t bring your a up here if you don’t wanna be here.” He added with a little chuckle, “God don’t lie ugly!”

The cheeky disclaimer comes straight on the heels of a wild incident at their Nashville stop at Nissan Stadium. As we previously reported, during his signature “Can U Handle It?” performance where he routinely pulls a fan on stage for an intimate routine, things took an awkward turn with fan Gabrielle Cheyenne. While sitting on the stage bed, Cheyenne froze up, looking visibly stiff and uncomfortable while Usher worked his magic. Reading the room real quick, Usher smirked at the crowd, said, “I don’t think she want to be on the stage,” and had her escorted right back to her area.
Naturally, the internet went up in flames after the clip hit social media, with fans roasting the concertgoer’s cold energy. But Cheyenne didn’t take the online dragging sitting down, clapping back on Facebook to defend her vibe and brag about her seat upgrade. “First off NOBODY is declining to go on stage. I looked good asf, you thought I wasn’t gonna let THOUSANDS of people see me??” she wrote, adding that Usher’s team moved her and her mom from floor seats to VIP due to “PRETTY PRIVILEGES”.
She went on to clarify that fans weren’t warned about what the stage appearance entailed, asking, “Y’all wanted me to get up there and f*ck him atp??”
Her mom even jumped into the mix, posting a backstage photo of Cheyenne posing with Usher’s wife, Jennifer Goicoechea, to prove there was zero bad blood behind the scenes. Still, Usher wasn’t taking any chances when he hit the stage in Birmingham.
