Variety also shared that the R&B star might appear on the show as well, but at the moment it’s too early to call. Usher has always been celebrated for his smooth R&B vocals and electrifying stage presence. However, his talents extend beyond the world of music and into the realm of acting. Usher has embarked on a successful acting career, appearing in a variety of movies and TV shows that have further showcased his versatility as an entertainer.

One of Usher’s earliest forays into acting came in 1998 when he made his film debut in the crime drama “The Faculty.” Directed by Robert Rodriguez, the movie tells the story of a group of high school students who discover that their teachers are aliens. Usher played the role of Gabe Santora, a talented athlete. While his character was not the lead, Usher’s performance demonstrated his ability to captivate audiences on the big screen.

In 1999, Usher had a cameo in the romantic comedy-drama film “She’s All That.” Starring Freddie Prinze Jr. and Rachael Leigh Cook, the movie revolves around a high school jock who makes a bet that he can transform an unpopular girl into the school’s prom queen. Usher played the role of the high school DJ, showcasing his charisma and charm in a brief but memorable appearance.

Usher’s acting career gained significant momentum in 2005 when he starred in the critically acclaimed musical drama “Ray.” The film, directed by Taylor Hackford, chronicles the life and career of legendary musician Ray Charles. Usher portrayed the role of a young Ray Charles, delivering a standout performance that earned him praise from critics and audiences alike. Usher’s portrayal showcased his ability to embody the essence of a real-life musical icon.
