Usain Bolt Tests Positive For COVID-19 After 34th Birthday Bash
World-record sprinter and eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt has become the latest celebrity to test positive for COVID-19.

Bolt took to Instgram Monday morning to address the COVID rumors at first. He said,
“I’m just waking up, and like everybody else, I checked social media, [which] is saying I am confirmed to have COVID-19,” Bolt said in a video before finding out about his infection. “I am trying to be responsible, so I am going to stay in and stay here for my friends.”
However, Jamaican Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton later announced that Bolt was informed that he indeed has COVID-19. As the New York Post pointed out, the retired athlete, who reported no symptoms, tested positive just days after he celebrated his 34th birthday in a surprise party in his country.
Now, according to the news site, Prime Minister Andrew Holness said police are investigating the circumstances surrounding Bolt’s birthday bash in St. Andrew last week as clips posted on social media showed Bolt and other partygoers without masks or protective gear.
“These matters are all being thoroughly investigated and the police will give a report on these matters in near future,” Holness said.
