US Marshals Find 39 Missing Children During Massive Sex Trafficking Bust In Georgia — 9 Suspects Arrested
Dozens of children are now safe after they were found during a massive sex trafficking bust. On Thursday, the U.S. Department of Justice announced the big news, revealing that a total of thirty-nine children were rescued.

During the two-week Operation Not Forgotten this month in Atlanta and Macon, aimed to rescue endangered missing children, The U.S. Marshals Service rescued 26 children, located 13 missing children, and arrested nine people in Georgia on sex trafficking, parental kidnapping and sex offender charges.
As CBS News notes, among those taken into custody is a man named Moradeyo Amos Bandele. He was arrested in Port St. Lucie, according to the Department of Justice. He was taken in on a warrant for rape out of Conyers, Georgia. Other suspects who were arrested include, Trevonte Shareef, Kirk Waters, Stanson Causey, Zachary Bailey, Sally Garcia, Faye Smith, James Garcia, and Trayon Moore. Director of the Marshals Service Donald Washington said in a statement, “The U.S. Marshals Service is fully committed to assisting federal, state, and local agencies with locating and recovering endangered missing children, in addition to their primary fugitive apprehension mission,” adding, “The message to missing children and their families is that we will never stop looking for you.”
CBS notes that this initiative was the result of several months of planning and coordination between “the USMS, NCMEC, Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Georgia Office of the Attorney General, Georgia Department of Family and Children Services, Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, the FBI and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.”
