The woman who accused and assaulted Grammy-award winning musician Keyon Harrold’s son at a Manhattan hotel is finally speaking out.

During an interview with CNN, the 22-year-old woman claims she was assaulted during the encounter with Harrold and his son. The situation began after she asked the Arlo Hotel manager to see surveillance footage to find out who had stolen her phone and asked other hotel guests if they took her phone before confronting Keyon Jr. Keyon Sr. said the young woman lunged herself towards himself and his son then scratched him. She also tackled the teen shortly before an Uber driver returned her cellphone.
She tells the media outlet, “Of course I worry. That’s not who I am, I actually … try very hard to make sure that I am always doing the right thing” when asked about facing criminal charges.

The unknown woman claims that she’s not a racist and is willing to cooperate with the NYPD but hasn’t heard anything about the investigation. Additionally, she is willing to provide proof of the assault.
