As it was previously reported Wednesday morning, LAPD finally named a suspect in the Sept. 12 killing of PnB Rock. Cops first identified Freddie Lee Trone as one of the suspects and said he was still on the loose and should be considered “armed and dangerous.”

They only just released a photo of Trone at the time but
shared with TMZ moments later shared that the 17-year-old son of Freddie Trone had also been arrested that day. The son was the alleged shooter, and Freddie drove the getaway car. It was said that the father and son duo were already in the restaurant’s parking lot when PnB arrived. The new update seemingly removes the possibility that PnB was targeted from a social media made by his GF who shared their exact location which was Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles in Los Angeles.

According to another new update by the outlet, a third person has been arrested — a woman by the name of Shauntel Trone. Cops arrested and booked her for accessory to murder. Law enforcement sources said that Trone is the stepmom of the 17-year-old arrested.

While two people have been nabbed so far, police are also searching for Freddie Lee Trone. Police are urging the public to contact 911 if they see Trone or have any info on his whereabouts.

More On What Happened To PnB Rock

As we previously reported, on September 12, Philadelphia rapper PnB Rock, whose legal name was Rakim Allen, was robbed and fatally shot at a Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles restaurant in Los Angeles. As news of his death surfaced, many of his music-industry colleagues offered heartfelt condolences.

However, his unfortunate death, caused a big social media debate. It centered around the location tag on his girlfriend’s, Stephanie Sibounheuang‘s social-media post as PnB’s killer might have tracked him using it. However, Cardi B and DJ Akademiks both came to her defense and slammed others for blaming her instead of the killers who took Rock’s life. “I highly doubt nikkas was looking at PMB’s babymom IG. He was in a bad location and people stay outside plotting,” Cardi wrote. “It’s very irresponsible and inconsiderate to blame her for something so tragic. We should be sending nothing but love to her and his family at this time.”

Meanwhile, rapper Nicki Minaj took a different approach, writing on Twitter, “After Pop Smoke there’s no way we as rappers or our loved ones are still posting locations to our whereabouts. To show waffles & some fried chicken????! He was such a pleasure to work with. Condolences to his mom & family. This makes me feel so sick. Jesus.”

Following the latest update, fans are now encouraging folks to apologize to Sibounheuang for jumping to conclusions before a full investigations could be done and concluded.

Sibounheuang, who shares a daughter with Rock has yet to publicly speak out on her boyfriend’s passing and the controversy surrounding her. We will continue to keep you updated as this story develops.
