Earlier today, it was reported that Vice President Mike Pence will self-quarantine after his press secretary tested positive for COVID-19. He plans to return to the White House tomorrow.

According to CNN, Pence’s spokesman Devin O’Malley said the vice president plans to be in the White House Monday despite his press secretary Katie Miller testing positive for coronavirus. O’Malley said Pence will follow the advice of the White House medical unit and will not self-quarantine.

However, another White House official said the vice president’s schedule will be a little lighter due to Miller’s diagnosis. The White House is also changing its protocols to prevent any spread of the coronavirus.

President Trump said in a statement that Miller has not had any contact with him and called her “a wonderful young woman.” He added that she tested “very good for a long period of time” until her diagnosis on Friday.

It was stated earlier in our report that Miller has had contact with Pence on Thursday, a day before her test results were revealed.
