According to the latest update in their case, the rap star manage to dodge felony charges. TMZ reports that police passed the rapper’s DV case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office so they could decide if they wanted to file charges against Tyga. However, the case has now been kicked over to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office which means he won’t be charged with a felony because only the D.A.’s Office can charge folks with a felony — the news site notes.
It was said Camaryn’s injuries and the evidence did not rise to a felony charge which is why the case was reportedly kicked to the City Attorney… Now, Tyga is not completely off the hook just yet. The rapper could still be hit with a misdemeanor by the City Attorney but doesn’t have to worry about a felony anymore.
Camaryn was the one who filed a police report, claiming Tyga hit her and even shared pics and video of her alleged injuries. Tyga’s camp claims her allegations are “false and will be disproven.”
