UPDATE: Tessica Brown donating $20K from GoFundMe To charity after ‘Gorilla Glue’ Incident

The 40-year-old Louisiana woman whose hair had been stuck solid for a month after using Gorilla Glue adhesive spray to slick down has raised nearly $24,000 on GoFundMe.

Brown explained that she created the account “to help with any expenses related to this unfortunate ordeal.“ Luckily, she didn’t have to spend any money as Black Beverly Hills plastic surgeon offered to remove the glue out of her hair for free!

So what will she do with all of that money? Well, according to TMZ, she’s giving a majority of her GoFundMe to a charity started by Beverly Hills surgeon Dr. Michael Obeng, who treated her. It will help and support others going through similar ordeals or any others requiring expensive surgery. As the news site notes, Tessica plans to keep around $1,000 to cover her bills from an unsuccessful emergency room visit — as well as some for her flight to California.

TMZ also reports that Tessica has been making money from her new merch line and it is said to be doing pretty good.
