A cause of death has been confirmed for ‘Romeo + Juliet’ singer Quindon Tarver after it was reported previously that he died in Texas.

According to the 38-year-old singer’s uncle, Willie Tarver, he confirmed that he was killed after crashing his car into a wall on the President George Bush Turnpike in Dallas. On Friday, we reported that his family confirmed the news on their Facebook pages but they didn’t get into detail about his passing.
Tarver is known for his singing role in the 1996 film ‘Romeo + Juliet’ along with his appearance on American Idol.

Before his passing, he posted on Instagram about life and sang a cover of a Dorinda Clark Cole song on March 25.
