The LAPD’s investigation into Michael B. Jordan’s Ferrari crash has reportedly been closed, according to TMZ.
The news outlet reports that the actor won’t face any criminal repercussions for the incident because there’s not enough evidence to prove what occurred on that night. As we previously reported, footage surfaced on the internet showing the crash and multiple news outlets have reported that it might’ve happened while racing another Ferrari on the road. In the footage you can see Michael’s car crashing into a parked Kia on the street.
Law enforcement told TMZ that the video footage that everyone seen on social media is just a piece of the puzzle but wasn’t enough evidence to tie everything together. Also authorities were unable to prove if Michael was actually behind the wheel when his Ferrari crashed.
Law enforcement officials will not release any names since no one involved in the crash was arrested or booked, but they did confirm that an accident report was taken.
Jordan was not cited, and intoxication is not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
