A man who chased a Bronx woman to her apartment and attempted to break in was arrested earlier this week.

NYPD officers identified the man as 41-year-old Orisha Luckey and he was arrested and charged on October 7 for the attempted break on Sept. 23 in Concourse Village. Luckey also had 37 prior arrests before the incident.
NYPD Chief of Detectives James Essig confirmed the arrest in a Twitter post on Friday. “Arrest made! On October 7th with public help, investigators from the@NYPD44Pct identified and arrested Orisha Luckey, a 41-year-old male with 37 prior arrests, and charged him with Burglary. Great job getting a dangerous recidivist off the street before he could strike again,” he wrote.

The 50-year-old victim was followed into her building on that day when she noticed Luckey and another man staring at her.
“There were two guys outside, and they were looking suspicious. He followed me inside the building, and he said ‘Miss, miss,’ twice.”
She added after the incident, her husband and family also keep an eye on her every time she leaves the house.
