A Michigan cannibal was convicted of killing a man name Kevin Bacon, who he met on the the dating app, Grindr. As we previously reported, the man confessed to killing his date and eating his testicles.
Mark Latunski, 53, was found guilty Wednesday of first-degree murder by Circuit Court Judge Matthew Stewart after nearly two days of testimony in the gruesome case where the cannibal reportedly told cops he ate his victims testicles.

“The court finds that this is a crime of cold calculation,” Stewart said, according to Mlive.com. “Kevin Bacon’s death was Mark Latunski’s design.”
As we previously reported, Latunski slit Bacon’s throat and hanged his body from the basement ceiling then ate his genitals at his home in Bennington Township. Bacon was found on December 28 of that 2021 in the basement and court documents state the victim was well aware of Latunski’s violent fetishes. Latunski was arraigned on Dec. 30 for murder and disinterment/mutilation of a dead body.
Latunski’s lawyer Mary Chartier said her client did not plan on killing Bacon, and when police knocked on his door, he let cops in even though he knew there was a dead body in his basement, Mlive.com reported.
“A person in Mr. Latunski’s shoes, in his mindset, has to have fully evaluated the consequences of the killing,” she said.
Latunski also asked Bacon over text if he had medical issues that would get in the way of their fetish, which Chartier said he would not have done if he wanted to kill him before the victim came over.
