Just a day after news broke that Khloe Kardashian is expecting her second child with Tristan Thompson via a surrogate, sources have confirmed the sex of the baby to @PageSix.
“Khloé has always wanted a little brother for True and decided to go ahead with having the baby with the support of her family,” an insider spilled to the outlet.
As we previously reported, The Kardashians star broke the internet yeateray after a rep announced and confirmed that she is expecting another child with her ex-boyfriend despite his multiple cheating scandals. “We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November,” the statement by Khloe’s rep read.“Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing,” it added. “We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloé can focus on her family.” Although Khloe herself has yet to publicly speak out, her fans have been congratulating her online.

Despite the drama, this is exciting for Khloe who has always wanted a boy.
During one of the episodes of the Hulu series, Kim revealed that Khloe wanted to have a son and was devastated after learning that Tristan secretly fathered his third child, a boy, with another woman, Maralee Nichols.
“The whole thing that is so sad is that she wanted a baby boy. And now this girl is having f–king baby boy. A f–king random that he slept with one night? F–k him. I was so team him,” Kim said on the show while speaking about the big news “We don’t know that [Khloé] knows. How do we know if she knows? That’s the thing. We don’t know. We have no f–king idea if she knows. She is not responding.”
How Does Khloe Kardashian Feel Now?
A source told PEOPLE, “When Khloé found out in December that the surrogate was pregnant, she was elated,” a source tells PEOPLE. “Shortly after though, Tristan’s new cheating was exposed. It was a bittersweet situation for Khloé.” Adds the source, “She was so excited about the baby, but incredibly disappointed in Tristan. Like Khloé always does though, she turned it around and focused on the good.”
“Khloe and Tristan are not together,” the source says, “but they will always be a family. However, they were together when their surrogate got pregnant.”
Tristan Thompson hasn’t released a statement on his 4th baby that’s on the way. However, he did issue a public apology to Khloe for cheating on her again. He said,
“I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately,” Thompson wrote to his 3.5 million followers. “Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years.”
