UPDATE: Gorilla Glue Reacts To Tessica Brown’s Successful Hair Procedure

As we previously reported, the woman whose hair has been suffocating under glue for over a month, finally got relief thanks to a Black plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills.

Tessica took up Dr. Michael Obeng on his offer to perform the $12,500 procedure for free, and the 4-hour procedure went well. Tessica was under light anesthesia as the surgeons removed the glue from her hair. Obeng told TMZ he combined medical grade adhesive remover, aloe vera, olive oil, and a dash of acetone. After she woke up, she became pretty choked up once she realized she could once again run her fingers through it.

A rep for Gorilla Glue tells the news site, “We are glad that Miss Brown was able to be treated and we hope that she is doing well.”

Tessica says she can’t wait to get her hair back to a good length where she can wear her ponytails again. Tessica previously told TMZ that she prepared to wear wigs for the rest of her life but after this procedure, she won’t need them for too long.
