Days after Gabby Petito is reported missing by her family, Brian Laundrie goes missing after he refused to talk to police or the media after the woman’s disappearance.

The shocking update was confirmed by Laundrie’s attorney who contacted the FBI stating his family wanted to report his disappearance. In a statement, the North Port Police said Laundrie’s family hasn’t heard from Brian since Tuesday and the case has turned into a multiple missing person case after speaking with his loved ones.
“Friday is the first time they have spoken with investigators in detail. It is important to note that while Brian is a person of interest in Gabby’s disappearance, he is not wanted for a crime. We are not currently working on a crime investigation. We are now working on multiple missing person investigations,” said public information officer Josh Taylor.

Petito continues to be missing after she was last seen on August 30 during a cross-country trip with Laundrie and he returned back to Florida on Sept. 1 without his girlfriend which raised suspicions on social media. However, he was not facing any criminal charges in relation to Petito’s disappearance.
A police bodycam video surfaced on the internet where the couple reportedly had a domestic dispute in Utah. “We’ve been fighting all morning. He wouldn’t let me in the car before … he told me I needed to calm down,” Petito explained to the officers.
