UPDATE: Five Arrested In Connection To Pop Smoke’s Murder

As we previously reported, Pop Smoke was shot and killed by 4 masked gunmen back in February. Initially, it appeared to be a home invasion robbery at a rental pad in the Hollywood Hills. However, TMZ later reported that it was a targeted attack.

At the time, police were unable to find the suspects who committed the crime and only shared little details. But, following months of the tragic incident, TMZ has finally provided an update.

Law enforcement sources tell the news site that LAPD served multiple search warrants around Los Angeles early Thursday morning, and 5 people were arrested on warrants in connection to the rapper’s murder. It was said that 3 adults and 2 juveniles were taken into custody. However, It’s unclear what the suspects are being charged with. Source told the news site that all 5 will be interviewed by police and then booked. No further details were shared.

Pop Smoke was just 20-years-old and just taking off in his career when his life was taken from him.
