USA Today reports that thirty-eight Los Angeles firefighters along with one Beverly Hills crew searched the walls of the 29,000-square-foot home. Firefighters reportedly used thermal imaging cameras for the source of smoke. No flames were seen, according to the LAFD report. The fire department report also stated that all occupants remained safely outside the residence.
However, as news began to circulate online of a possible fire at the actor’s home, Alan Neirob, Washington’s press representative released a statement to USA TODAY confirming, “There is no fire and everyone is OK and safe.”
LAFD is currently investigating where the smoke from the home’s second floor came from, FoxLA reports.
