UPDATE: Conor McGregor Speaks Out After Successful 3 hour Surgery For Broken Leg
Conor McGregor underwent successful surgery on his leg on Sunday and has even shared an update on his status following the gruesome injury at UFC 264 against Dustin Poirier.
In a tweet, he said, “Just out of the surgery room guys! Surgery went excellent! Feeling tremendous! 6 weeks on crutch and we build back! Let’s go! God bless,” McGregor tweeted.
McGregor then followed up with a video telling his fans that everything went “perfect” and that he plans to make a full recovery.
As we previously reported, McGregor was taken out of the cage on a stretcher after injuring his leg against Poirier. The fight sadly ended after the first round. However, Poirier was awarded the technical knockout via a doctor stoppage and it was because of the gruesome injury McGregor suffered.

UFC president Dana White said after the fight that a fourth match between the two fighters could possibly happen. Socialites, would you love to see it? Sound off in the comment box below!
