An incident involving Offset and Lil Tjay has now taken a serious turn, according to newly released details from authorities.

According to the probable cause affidavit local police revealed at around 7:22 PM ET Monday, Lil Tjay “directed members of his party to start a fight with another group of males” at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Authorities say this moment set everything into motion, turning what could have been a verbal confrontation into something much more serious.

Police Report Details How The Altercation Escalated

Police say during the altercation one of Lil Tjay’s associates pulled out a firearm and shot Offset. The documents also say cops have reviewed security footage of Lil Tjay hopping out of his vehicle, pointing out Offset, and leading his crew over to the rapper, where the fight broke out. They also claim Lil Tjay filmed the incident on his phone.

Authorities reportedly relied heavily on surveillance footage to piece together the sequence of events. This footage, according to reports, shows key moments leading up to the physical altercation and the eventual shooting.

Additionally, incidents like this often involve multiple perspectives and ongoing investigation. While police have shared their findings so far, these cases typically continue to develop as more evidence and witness accounts come forward.

The fight between Lil Tjay and Offset’s friends went on until police arrived, cops add. Once officers reached the scene, they were able to bring the situation under control. However, the damage had already been done, leaving one of the most recognizable names in hip-hop injured.

Lil Tjay Arrested Following Incident

Following the altercation, Lil Tjay was taken into custody. Authorities confirmed that Lil Tjay was arrested and bookedinto the Broward County Jail on a charge of misdemeanor disorderly conduct-affray. He was released Tuesday.

Although the charge is classified as a misdemeanor, the situation surrounding the arrest remains serious due to the involvement of a firearm and reported injuries. Law enforcement continues to investigate the full scope of what happened that night.
