Ariel has been in the hospital since Feb. 4, when a truck from Chiefs outside linebackers coach Britt Reid was driving crashed into the vehicle she was in. A 4-year-old child was also injured in the crash, though her injuries were not considered life-threatening. Britt Reid, who is Chiefs head coach Andy Reid’s son, admitted he had two or three drinks before getting behind the wheel that night and had also taken prescribed Adderall. Britt Reid is no longer employed with the Chiefs organization and the investigation into the crash continues as no criminal charges have been filed yet.

As TMZ notes, Ariel’s GoFundMe page has already raised more than $488,000 to help cover medical expenses; an incredible show of support.
