United Airlines Won’t Notify Passengers Of Other COVID-Positive Passengers In Flight

United Airlines has revealed that it will not notify passengers if there is an infectious passenger on board a plane who has COVID-19.

Per TMZ, a New Orleans Medical Examiner concluded that a 69-year-old man had COVID-19 and died from cardiac arrest. Witnesses on the flight recall the man’s wife explaining that he was suffering from COVID symptoms but had failed to disclose them before boarding. After he was taken off the flight, the man, identified as Isaias Hernandez, was pronounced dead at Ochsner Medical Center-Kenner.RELATED: Passenger Dies On United Airlines Flight After Claiming They Didnt Have COVID SymptomsHowever, United still has not told the 179 passengers and says it is up to the CDC to do so.

“We are sharing requested information with the agency so they can work with local health officials to conduct outreach to any customer the CDC believes may be at risk for possible exposure or infection,” United rep Charles Hobart said in the statement.

Apparently, the passengers that TMZ spoke to have not heard from United or the CDC.
