As we previously shared, on September 23, Suge Knight, born Marion Hugh Knight Jr., participated in a phone interview with journalist Chris Cuomo on NewsNation. During the conversation, the former head of Death Row Records shared his thoughts on Diddy’s recent grand jury indictment and federal charges including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution.

Knight said, “Nobody’s stepping up [to defend him] for the fact that you know what’s going on.” He continued to share that despite having many connections to powerful individuals, he doesn’t believe Diddy, born Sean Combs, will flip and snitch on anyone. He also suggested that the Bad Boy Records founder might be struggling in jail, specifically, at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, due to his alleged history of drug use.

Knight explained, “I don’t think nobody is counting him out. I don’t think he’s going to crawl in a corner and die. He’s probably going through a lot of sh*t right now because he probably going through a lot of withdrawals from the drugs. But the industry got him on drugs.”

Reacting to Suge Knight’s comments about Diddy and his alleged drug use, the disgraced mogul’s former attorney, Mark Geragos, dismissed the allegations with NewsNation. On September 24, Geragos, whose daughter is on Diddy’s legal team, said, “There’s no indication in the indictment that any of that is true. I don’t think Suge has any insight into anything that has happened within the last 10 years, other than the usual conspiracy scuttlebutt.”

Following Suge Knight’s comments about Diddy and his alleged drug use, Uncle Luke echoed his remarks and suggested that the now-disgraced mogul was “consumed by drugs,” leading to his legal troubles. While appearing on ‘The Stephen A. Smith Show‘ on September 27, Uncle Luke and Stephen A. Smith discussed whether or not Suge Knight’s comments about Diddy and drugs were accurate.

Using alleged information from those close to Diddy, Uncle Luke said, “Let me tell you like this. You’re still connected to the outside world. You know, in some shape, form, or fashion. You know, guys [that aren’t] supposed to have their telephones in jail, but they do have their telephone in jail. But, then they get their one or two, you know, calls, and they get it done. So, those guys are still connected.”

Luke continued, “But, I listened to the interview just like you did, And I listened to certain things. When he’s talking about drugs and the industry drugging Diddy. Again, a lot of my friends who know him real closely, you know, they say that he got consumed with the drugs. And so, when you hear certain things like that from a guy that’s incarcerated, that means that he’s really, really in touch to the situation. You feel me? And so, at the end of the day, you know, and a lot of other things that Suge said… I mean, the industry don’t change.”

He added, “If you don’t control the industry, the industry will control you. If you don’t humble yourself, if you let it go to your head, then it will get you. It will eat you up. It will consume you. When you think you’re too big when you can go and file a lawsuit against Diageo, the largest liquor brand… When you feel like you can go after these types of conglomerates, something got to your head! Something really got to your head. Drugs or something or the liquor. Something really got to your head when you think you that big where you can take on that giant.”
