The attack took place on Tuesday morning in Mykolaiv where a Russian missile struck the administrative building. Kim, the city’s mayor and the Head of Administration, avoided the failed assassination attempt since he overslept that morning but officials said rescue workers are still searching for survivors who were inside during the attack.

“They are kidnapping the mayors of our cities. They killed some of them. We can’t find some of them. We have already found some of them and they are dead.”

As previously reported, Melitopol mayor Ivan Fedorov was kidnapped by Russian troops and replaced by Galina Danilchenko.
