More legal trouble for NBA Youngboy: The Baton Rouge rapper has recently found himself in cuff once again, this time in Utah.
Despite being under strict house arrest in the state, Youngboy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, was arrested on multiple charges on Tuesday evening, April 16, as reported by jail records from the Cache County Sheriff’s Office.
According to WFAB, the charges against Youngboy include a range of offenses such as a pattern of unlawful activity, attempting to procure drugs/prescriptions, identity fraud, forgery, possession of controlled substances, and possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person.

More On His Legal Cases:
His legal woes began in March 2021 when he was indicted for allegedly being found with firearms during an incident in Baton Rouge at September 2020 music video shoot. YoungBoy is awaiting trial over the federal gun charges, which was paused in March pending the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling on Second Amendment rights this spring, the outlet notes.
Despite facing these charges, he was acquitted by a federal jury in Los Angeles in July 2022 for a separate gun-related arrest in California.
Currently, Youngboy has been serving house arrest in Utah under the supervision of a security firm staffed by military veterans. While a federal judge has allowed him access to mental health treatments, restrictions on his activities, including limited time in the recording studio, remain in place despite arguments that his music career has suffered as a result.
So far, no bail has been set. A legal rep for the 24-year-old has not released a statement on his behalf. We will continue to keep you updated as this story develops.
