In more YSL RICO news: A Fulton County deputy has been arrested after investigators claim she tried to smuggle contraband into the jail for one of the defendants in the Young Slime Life trial.

According to @WSBTV, the deputy accused of committing this crime has been identified as Akeiba Stanley. It was said that Miss Stanley was booked into the slammer on Friday and has since been charged not only with reckless conduct, but for violation of oath of office, conspiracy to commit a felony, and hindering apprehension or punishment of a criminal, the news site notes citing jail records.

Apparently, she has been communicating with
YSl defendant Christian Eppinger. On top of allegedly communicating with him on an illegal cellphone, court documents allege that Stanley was also using Instagram to communicate with Mr. Eppinger.

Currently, it’s unclear when Stanley will be arraigned. However, WSBTV reports that a judge has set her bond for $1M.

Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat released this statement saying,

“Her reckless actions endangered the safety of citizens, staff, and employees at the Fulton County Courthouse and put other inmates in jeopardy. To violate your sworn oath in such a brazen way that directly puts the life and safety of others at risk is unconscionable. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, we are all responsible for our actions. If you break the law, you will be held accountable. The actions of this one individual are certainly not a reflection of the men and women of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office who show up to work each and every day and conduct their duties with professionalism, honor and integrity.”

More On The YSL RICO Case

Eppinger is just one of over a dozen YSL members who got arrested on RICO charges. At the center of it all, rapper Young Thug who’s accused of being the ring learner, is currently facing trial as he battles through eight charges including conspiracy to violate the RICO Act and two counts of participation in criminal street gang activity, along with multiple drug and weapons offenses.

Fellow rapper Gunna was also jailed for months over RICO charges but after taking a plea deal he was able to get out. However, he’s facing more problems as he’s now being accused of snitching on Thugger to be let out of prison — something that his legal team has since denied.

“While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way,” his attorney said in a statement following his release from jail. “Gunna has never been interviewed by or cooperated with law enforcement or prosecutors in the RICO case,” the statement read. “Nor have his attorneys proffered information on his behalf.”
