The new program called Uber Rent will allow customers to rent cars from companies such as Avis and Hertz as reported by CNN. Additionally, the prices will be placed by the rental companies and Uber will take a cut of the profits. Uber is also launching a valet service that will be exclusive to Washington D.C. so rental cars can be driven to customers.
Other features on the app will include reserved rides at airports, picking up food during their ride, and booking a ride to vaccination appointments.
