According to several conservative news outlets, a U.S. Senate staffer under Senator Ben Cardin, D-MD, has been booted from his government position after a graphic leaked video allegedly shows him knocking boots with another man in the Senate hearing room.

On Friday (December 15), the Daily Caller reported that they obtained leaked footage of a congressional staffer having unprotected anal sex with an unknown man in a Senate hearing room, reportedly identified as Senate room Hart 216 – The Judiciary Room.

They noted that the staffer was also busted in photos, appearing naked on all fours on the table where Senators sit and ask questions during hearings. While on the table, the staffer was looking back at the camera. Additionally, they reported that they reviewed the chat where the video was leaked and confirmed that it was shared in a private group for gay men in politics.

While the Daily Caller did not identify the staffer, Representative Max Miller, R-Ohio has alleged that the staffer is Democratic Senator Ben Cardin’s aide, Aidan Maese-Czeropski.

Miller has also told conservative news outlets that Maese-Czeropski is the same senate staffer who shouted “Free Palestine!” at him in a Congress hallway while he was speaking with NBC News. Meanwhile, Maese-Czeropski has since denied this.

On Friday night (December 15), Aidan Maese-Czeropski, the aide accused of knocking boots in a Senate hearing room, shared a post on his LinkedIn and admitted that although he has shown “poor judgment” in the past, he “would never disrespect my workplace.”

Wholly, Maese-Czeropski wrote, “This has been a difficult time for me, as I have been attacked for who I love to pursue a political agenda. While some of my actions in the past have shown poor judgement, I love my job and would never disrespect my workplace. Any attempts to characterize my actions otherwise are fabricated and I will be exploring what legal options are available to me in these matters. As for the accusations regarding Congressman Max Miller, I have never seen the congressman and had no opportunity or cause to yell or confront him.”

Before his former aide’s statement, Senator Cardin’s office also shared a statement on Friday that read, “We have seen media reports emanating from the right-wing media. As this is a personnel matter and under review, we will not be commenting further at this time.”

Following initial statements, Senator Ben Cardin’s office released another statement on Saturday (December 16), admitting that they had booted Maese-Czeropski from their team. The statement, first obtained by Politico read, “Aidan Maese-Czeropski is no longer employed by the U.S. Senate. We will have no further comment on this personnel matter.”
