Tyrese appeared in Fulton County court on Tuesday to continue his child support dispute with Samantha Lee Gibson. According to TMZ, the hearing was held because the singer/actor refused to pay the $10,000 a month he was ordered to pay in August because he believed the judge was prejudiced against him. Tyrese felt $10,000 was excessive while on the stand since he believes Samantha Lee doesn’t need that much because she makes enough money to care for their daughter, Soraya.

Earlier today, he also made a video criticizing Judge Kevin Farmer and requested civil rights lawyers Ben Crump and Martin Luther King III to defend him. On the other hand, Farmer found Tyrese in contempt for failing to pay the required child support charge and was sentenced to pay $237,944 in overdue child support.

Additionally, Tyrese was ordered to pay $399,000 for Samantha Lee’s attorney fees. He also has to pay $17K for the special master appointed by the judge to mediate minor issues during the case.

Black Twitter reacted to the latest update and said Tyrese should’ve made better decisions before the hearing, referencing the video he made about Judge Farmer and keeping up with child support payments.

Samantha Lee’s attorney, Adam Gleken, said his client wants peace in her life and to co-parent Soraya.
