Woah! Tyrese says he fears he’ll be arrested ahead of court with ex-wife Samantha Lee and accuses her lawyer and a judge of colluding against him in his 4-year-long divorce battle; alleging they “illegally cracked [his] prenuptial agreement and illegally tried to make [him] pay a $10,690 child support payment.”
On Sunday (September 8), Tyrese posted a photo with a judge’s gavel and handcuffs with text overlaying that read, “I might be arrested in the morning… in Atlanta!”
In his caption, he wrote, “At 9 a.m., in the morning in Atlanta I might be arrested in court. Samantha’s lawyers Adam Gleklen and William Alexander who are besties with Judge Kevin M Farmer [collusion] [ALL OF THESE NAMES ARE VERY PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL VERY PUBLIC JUDGES AND LAWYERS DEMANDED] that I come to court and cancel my press and media for my ‘1992’ movie and my new ‘Beautiful Pain’ album interviews and demanded that I come to court.”
He added, “We are APPEALING ALL OF HIS RULINGS AND ALREADY HAVE TRIED TO GET THIS JUDGE THROWN OFF THE BENCH TWICE. The second time we tried to get him recused from the bench. [ He actually denied his own request to be thrown off the bench] …imagine that???”
Tyrese continued, “He illegally tried to bring a $10,690 child support payment from California that I’m giving my 17-year-old currently to Atlanta for my five-year-old. They have illegally cracked my prenuptial agreement. I, without a court order, started giving my ex $3,600 a month and child support, for a one-year-old at the time, on my own prior to going to court to do a divorce trial. After two years of $3,600 a month, [Judge Kevin M Farmer] decided to go back two years and turn my $3,600 into $10,690]. That’s called a retroactive child support payment a.k.a. he went backward just because he felt like it.”

Tyrese added, “We are currently APPEALING ALL OF HIS RULINGS. So tomorrow morning, I’m sure he’s gonna wanna make an example out of me… Press, media, PLEASE FILE your RULE 22 [media press access] set up your cameras and let’s see what Judge Farmer has in mind for me today. Praying for my lawyer TANYA MITCHELL GRAHAM — who has been robbed and violated from the beginning, just to process as a Black woman who owns her OWN law firm [30 years].”
He added, “She has said it over and over she has NEVER experienced anything like this in her life….it’s pretty clear that they hate my guts, but I must remind them and everything about my life and my success. I’ve worked my ass off since I was 14 years old to get here. #FamilyLawCourts are the WORST TOWARDS FATHERS.”

Tyrese also followed up his Instagram feed post with a 15-minute Instagram Live. On it, he praised the handfuls of women coming to his defense in his 4-year-long divorce battle with his ex-wife Samantha Lee. In the beginning of the post, Tyrese shared his thanks to all of the women who have been supporting him and defending him amid his ongoing divorce battle.
He continued to again slam his ex-wife and the legal officials involved in their battle. He also shared that he “got a prenup for a reason.” He said he knew he was a public figure and she was understood as well and both agreed on a “non-contested prenup.” However, he accused Lee’s lawyers of contesting the prenup at least 15 different times.
He also shared that the prenup states, as one of the first stipulations, that if a party does wish to contest the “non-contest prenup,” that party is “responsible for 100% of your own legal fees.” However, Tyrese claimed that Lee has attained three different law firms to contest their prenup and that her lawyers are seeking over a million in legal fees from him.
