Tyra Banks To Be Named New Host Of Dancing With The Stars
If you’re a Tyra Banks fan then you probably may like this news! According to Variety, Tyra will be hosting the upcoming season of ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars.”

Her new gig comes as news broke on Monday that longtime host Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews would be departing the show. The official twitter account for DWTS also confirmed the news in a tweet. “Please join us in welcoming @tyrabanks as #DWTS host. Thank you to @Tom_Bergeron and @ErinAndrews for so many seasons of glitz, glamour, and good times!”
Variety reports that the 46-year-old is set to be officially announced as the new host of the show Wednesday morning during her appearance on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
In a statement, the “America’s Next Top Model” co-creator said she enjoys how “DWTS” incorporates “fun mixed with raw emotion” while pushing celebrities “past their comfort zones,” the AP reported. “It’s always transported me to my days of turning it up 10 notches on the catwalk,” the statement read.
