$100,000 Scholarship Donation Marks Historic Moment

One of the biggest highlights of the weekend was a $100,000 donation to support the Better Brothers Los Angeles scholarship program. The contribution is reportedly one of the largest single donations in the organization’s history. A close source revealed that the anonymous donor was Tyler Perry.

While the donation was not publicly announced from the stage, insiders say the support reflects a continued commitment to investing in Black excellence and educational access. The scholarship program directly supports students within the Black LGBTQ+ community, helping reduce financial barriers and expand opportunities.
