Two Eleven-Year-Old Girls Lead Police On A 30-Mile High Speed Chase And Fall Into A Ditch

Two Alabama girls led police on a high-speed chase earlier this week in a pickup truck.

According to the Daily Mail, the two girls were driving the vehicle at speeds ranging from 30 to 80 mph through downtown Birmingham on Sunday afternoon.  In the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office’s report, deputies responded to a call about the unauthorized use of a vehicle which to them chasing the red truck on Interstate 59.

The chase ended when the truck fell into a ditch near Exit 148 but authorities reported the girls were not injured in the crash.

Alabama State Trooper spokesman Justin O’Neal said in a statement that the girls were awaiting transfer at the Department of Human Resources.

Several weeks ago, a similar accident happened in Louisiana when an eleven-year-old boy was driving a stolen school bus. He was arrested and charged with theft of a motor vehicle, aggravated flight along with three counts of aggravated damage, and aggravated assault.
