The viral clip, that was recorded by a passerby outside a beauty supply store, shows officers slamming her face into the concrete sidewalk, before the rough arrest in which she was kneed in the face, torso, and ribs. Following the incident, the P.D. investigated and concluded the cops did nothing wrong, according to the police union. However, Prosecutors then brought the case to the grand jury because they say the police department was not cooperating with its investigation by turning over key documents.

Now, the incident happened a year ago this month, but the video has just been released. According to the latest update on this story, Officer Matthew Brummett, 37, and Officer Charles Prichard, 47, were indicted on assault charges. Both officers are now on desk duty.

The woman who went by various first names, including Brianna or Brionna, Bebe, and Briya but her surname was Hill —- since died after being shot and killed in an unrelated incident.

The lawyer for both cops says, “They vehemently dispute the basis of these charges and believe they will ultimately be exonerated in court,” TMZ quotes.
